What this site is

FP&A Toolbox provides finance calculators that run in your browser. Using them requires no account and costs nothing. You may use the results in your own work, including commercial work, without attribution.

This is not professional advice

Nothing here is accounting, tax, legal, audit, or investment advice, and using it creates no professional relationship. The calculators apply stated conventions to figures you supply. They do not know your accounting policy, your tax position, your debt covenants, your reporting framework, or your auditor's judgement.

Each calculator states the conventions it applies. Read them. Where a result is destined for a filing, a covenant test, a valuation, or a board pack, validate it against your own policy and advisers before relying on it.

Accuracy

The calculations are unit tested against worked examples, and the conventions each one applies are documented on its page. That is a real standard, and it is not a guarantee. Software has defects, conventions differ between organisations and jurisdictions, and a correct calculation on the wrong inputs is still the wrong answer.

The site is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for checking the results you use.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FP&A Toolbox is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its output, including any financial, reporting, or business decision taken on the basis of a result produced here.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, use it to break the law, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for other people. Beyond that, use it as much as you like.

Availability and changes

Calculators may be added, changed, corrected, or withdrawn without notice. Where a calculation is corrected, the change is recorded in the public repository rather than applied silently. The site may be unavailable at times; nothing here commits to uptime.

Your data

The figures you enter are never transmitted to this site — see the privacy policy for what is and is not stored. Because nothing is received, nothing is retained, and there is nothing to request the deletion of.
